Our everyday routine
Everyday I would watch for Franny & Sheenas class to pass by our classroom heading off to lunch. Everyday I would wait to see a little red head bobbing by, and open the door to get a hug. It was a routine for the two of us, everyday it never failed unless one of us was not at the center. Sometimes I would already be out in the hallway and she would see me first. I would hear my name, and look, she would be darting full speed outta line straight for my welcoming arms, with the biggest grin on her face, even if her teachers told her to not get outta line. id smile at them, wrap her in my arms, talk to her, and walk her to the lunchroom or her classroom. Some days I would sneak up behind her and walk casually along until she noticed me.. It was always a highlight in my day.. Just seeing how excited she got when she saw me.. The last hug I got i remember like it was just yesterday, Franny had told her to not turn around (because I was walking right behind her) of course, she did. We stopped the line as she jumped into my arms and screamed "YOU FOUND ME! YOU ALWAYS FIND ME!!!" I held her, hugged her, told her I loved her. She kissed my cheek told me I was "bootiful" as she ran her finger over my eye shadow to put some 'sparklies' on her eyes, and said she loved me, hopped down, and was off to lunch.. Tuttle has her entire classroom full of friends hugging me now when I pass them, because she is who they all know me from.. I'll never forget those hugs, that smile, any of it. She forever had and will always have a piece of my heart.

We had a small notebook and she would scribble on it and give it to us and say "here's twenty dollars" and I'd say "is that all I want some more" and she would scribble some more and then she would say "here, fifty dollars". You never knew how much she would giva ya and if you complained it wasn't enough was more than happy to give you more.
ReplyDeleteOne day she was playing with Farrah and Farrah busted out laughing. She told me they were talking about money and Caroline told her she had fifty dollars and Farrah asked her were she got it and she said "from my mommies purse". We both laughed cause we could just see her doing that and Caroline just went on like nothing happened.
