Looking through the window.

One of the great memories I have of Caroline, is how she would look out the window of her classroom at her sister Celia when she out on the playground. The first few days of school when we were outside I would look through the window of Caroline's classroom and get her attention so she would come over to the window, and then tell Celia that Caroline was looking out the window. After the first few days this became something normal for them to do, and they would automatically end up at the window. They would laugh at each other, point, talk to one another, hit the window, put there hands on the window to "touch" hands, and Caroline would even lick the window from time to time. Both Caroline and Celia's classmates were always amazed by this, and would gather around them and laugh as the sisters chatted. I remember one day a little boy made the statement "Look, there's two Celia's." Celia looked at him pointed to Caroline and said "That's Caroline, she's my sister."

I was able to capture one day (2/9/12) an example of their window talks, and the pictures show the typical little Tuttle Tot that we all know. Yes, she's even licking the window in one of them. :)
